If you haven’t picked up an issue of Total 911 magazine, you really need to. It’s a UK based mag, but has a pretty good following over here in the States. You should be able to find a copy at most major bookstores and newsstands with a decent magazine selection.
Total 911 always has great information on various Porsche models, gorgeous pictures and great editorial. Even though the cars you will see in the magazine are by and large UK destined rides, the information and experience still applies. Definitely in the upper echelon of Porsche specific magazines.
Total 911 just released was the first 50 issues of their publication on DVD. I personally LOVE this idea. Sure you can’t replace the “experience” of a printed publication, but the convenience, consolidation and searchability of 50 issues on DVD is simply brilliant.
The cost is £19.99 (about $32.00) for the DVD plus £3.60 (about $5.70) for shipping. That’s a bargain for 50 issues. You can jump over to Total911.com for details here: Total 911 DVD.
I love this magazine.
I’m not familiar with this magazine, but I don’t know that I could get used to the steering wheel on the wrong (right) side of all of the cars. 🙂
sorry Ryan, but the only DVD you should be writing about is “Le Mans”….oh, that’s right – YOU STILL HAVEN’T SEEN IT.
-just sayin
Ouch! Yeah, you’re right. I’ll buy it and watch it…and stop runnin my mouth about it.
