This is probably one of the craziest Porsche projects I’ve ever seen. It’s right up there with the whale penis interior from Russian tuner, Dartz. The short version of the story is some dude in Austria with a love of Porsches and WAY too much time on his hands, built himself a Porsche 911 GT3 RS…..well, sort of.
Here’s a picture of the model he used to craft his ride:
And here’s a picture of his completed project car:
The biggest difference is the Ferdinand GT3 RS has no engine. It’s bike powered. It’s also got what appears to be a plastic tube shell. Top speed? Beats me. 10 or 15 mph maybe.
Here are a few stages of the process:
Check out the Flickr album that shows the project from start to finish here: FERDINAND GT3 RS BikePorsche
He’s also got a video up with a walkaround of the…..um…..car and a test on a Salzburg track. The video made me laugh. Several times.
This is one crazy project. At the end of the video, the thought running through my head was “what in the heck is he going to do with this thing?” You might want to be careful if you see any gold colored Porsche 911 GT3 RS cars show up on eBay.
imagine careening down some Austrian mountain road in this.
would you help me out with a blue print of that pedel cycle?
I don’t know where you’d find one. Maybe watching the video carefully will give you a general idea of how to approach it.
install an electric engine please 🙂
