This is a great looking video from Porsche on the new 918 Spyder concept car. I kind of wish they would have done a metamorphosis type of thing from old to new though. That would’ve been sweet. Anyone know how many of these cars they built? It’s gotta be more than just the one.
Porsche 918 Spyder Concept ROCKS!
I’m sure you’ve seen plenty on the Porsche 918 Spyder concept car released recently at the Geneva Motor Show. I thought I’d throw my two cents in about the car. Simply put…it ROCKS!!! (end of post, no need to read any further) The Porsche 918 Spyder concept is an ultra-efficient, low-emission, mid-engine supercar that pushes […]
Porsche Premieres At Geneva Motor Show
I stumbled on the Porsche 918 Spyder yesterday morning, but didn’t have time to post about it. I also saw a Web Special set up for live streaming of Porsche’s Premieres event live. You need to jump out and watch the event now. Pretty cool and you can see the new Cayenne Hybrid, the GT3 […]
An Unlikely Showdown: 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder vs. 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport
Steve, one of our PorschePerfect.com readers, sent me a link to a Motor Trend article this past week. MT decided to do a comparison between the 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder and the 2010 Tesla Roadster Sport. I have to say, this one was a bit surprising for a number of reasons. I’ll admit that my […]
2010 Porsche 911 Turbo ROCKS!!!
Don’t you love it when stuff in print supports what you personally feel? This happened to me this past weekend when I came across an article written on Autoblog.com about the 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo. Here’s how the article opens: It’s faster to 60 mph than a Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 or Ferrari Enzo. Porsche’s fastest […]
Could A Reborn 356 Be The New “Entry Level” Porsche?
I’ve mentioned this before, but rumors continue to circulate about the possibility of a reborn 356 coming from the depths of Porsche’s Design department. Course for every one rumor of a 356-like car, there’s two saying the new sub-Boxster is going to be a 914-style ride. Motorauthority.com had an interesting blog post detailing more reasons […]

Porsche Boxster Spyder Announced
I woke up this morning to a teaser comment from John over at PorschePurist.com. It was a short comment that said: “Ryan, You’ll want to check out my site in about 30 minutes… :-).” Wow! He wasn’t kidding! I jumped over to the Porsche Press site and found some gorgeous pictures and a full press […]

Here are the anticipated quick specs: Various aesthetic changes including twin “power domes” Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) A tuned version of the 3.4-litre flat six engine currently […]
Porsche Roxster
Looks like Porsche has beaten Brad to the punch. If you weren’t around for Brad’s Boxster Project posts, you can view them here: Porsche’s Mid-Engine Gap (P.R. Part 1) & Project Roxster – The Ultimate Boxster (P.R. Part 2). The idea was to turn a Boxster into an affordable “supercar” that the Carrera GT would […]
