This is a really cool video on the Porsche 917 with some great insight and tidbits about the car and it’s history. Also included is driving footage and commentary. Reminds me of a couple of Porsche 917 slot cars I had when I was a kid. They, of course, were the fastest ones I had!

There’s nothing particularly amazing about this video except the speed this Porsche 911 Turbo achieved in the standing mile. UnFREAKINbelievable!!! 236.6 mph in a standing mile. Now THAT’s crazy fast! The last half of the video is just credits, so skip that.

Porsche Panamera Technology Overview Video

I thought this video was pretty interesting. It’s a little dry presentation wise, but the cutaway car, plus the graphic examples show off the technology really well. Didn’t realize that the driver position in the Panamera was exactly the same as the 911.

This is a great looking video from Porsche on the new 918 Spyder concept car. I kind of wish they would have done a metamorphosis type of thing from old to new though. That would’ve been sweet. Anyone know how many of these cars they built? It’s gotta be more than just the one.

Camo Porsche Panamera

This has got to be one of the stranger paint jobs I’ve ever seen on a Porsche (aside from Janis Joplin’s 356). It’s got a desert camo paint scheme. I’m not sure which is attracting more attention. The camo paint or the fact that it’s a Panamera.
